Every girl

Every girl deserves to have a love that lasts a lifetime,
A boy to tell her how every aspect of her shines,
Friends to keep her happy while shes down,
and to go to a ball, in the most prescious gown.

Every girl deserves the truth, not lies,
A sharp dressed man, Tux and a tie,
someone to hold her when shes feeling blue,
and to remind her that her beauty is true.

Every girl deserves a lover that keeps her close,
Emotionally, physically, and in his heart and soul.
A lover who takes her serious when she is,
and has making her laugh, as his number one goal.

Our little secret

Tides toss, and lightening burns, as we hold our secret tight. Take love in our hands, and we'll make it through the night. Waves press against us, and God begins to roar, as he tries his best to end this, and wash us upon separate shore. Whirlpools appear and tear from starboard to port, clinging to each other, as our only last resort. Lost your body in the sea, as oceans lay to rest putting love and heart, to its greatest test. I grab a breath as earth began to quake, little did I know, it's the last i'll ever take. We end up parted, You on shore one, I on shore two, My body lay lifeless, You take your finger to the sand, and write "I'm sorry, I love you."

I think we're good.

I think we're good. I think I know what I'm doing. I think i know how to lead my life, but I have a teenager leading his better. I think I have all the answers. I think I'll have a beer. I think I understand what it takes, to stay alive in this year, I think I want to be country, I think I want a f250, I think I want to have my wife leave me, and sing songs about it, wouldn't that be nifty? I think you understand, i wrote this about another. I think you understand, that this individual is hated. I think you understand, that this poem is outdated. I think I should have wrote this, When things got at it's worst, But no one intervened, No one stopped this curse.
