Lets dance!

Small painless words,
You sweetly said to me,
Made me alive, made me happy.
You tild me I was it,
There was our chance,
I took up your hand,
And we started to dance.

Danced around in this thing called life.
Took you up, gave you a chance to try for wife.
We never really had much and for that I died,
For all the nights, I sat alone, I cried.

You took my heart and tied it to your strings,
You became a puppeteer, of all things.
You took control of my emotions and soul,
Then you gave up, left me hanging, took your toll.

And now we're good friends and nothing more,
We're lucky we're that, and my heart is still sore.
Yet I tried to say I'd give you another chance,
but things won't be the same, not the same dance.

Our little secret

Tides toss, and lightening burns, as we hold our secret tight. Take love in our hands, and we'll make it through the night. Waves press against us, and God begins to roar, as he tries his best to end this, and wash us upon separate shore. Whirlpools appear and tear from starboard to port, clinging to each other, as our only last resort. Lost your body in the sea, as oceans lay to rest putting love and heart, to its greatest test. I grab a breath as earth began to quake, little did I know, it's the last i'll ever take. We end up parted, You on shore one, I on shore two, My body lay lifeless, You take your finger to the sand, and write "I'm sorry, I love you."

I think we're good.

I think we're good. I think I know what I'm doing. I think i know how to lead my life, but I have a teenager leading his better. I think I have all the answers. I think I'll have a beer. I think I understand what it takes, to stay alive in this year, I think I want to be country, I think I want a f250, I think I want to have my wife leave me, and sing songs about it, wouldn't that be nifty? I think you understand, i wrote this about another. I think you understand, that this individual is hated. I think you understand, that this poem is outdated. I think I should have wrote this, When things got at it's worst, But no one intervened, No one stopped this curse.
