Why me?

I throw my heart towards you,
just to have it torn up,
shreaded, like hopes and dreams,
love doesn't last, how the movies make it seem.

I question this often,
and you get mad for my curiosity,
you say you don't know how to convince me,
but the regret and hesitation shows a lie to me.

I don't know what to do,
I can't tell if your lying,
I don't know if you've noticed,
but on the inside i'm dying.

I think we're good.

I think we're good. I think I know what I'm doing. I think i know how to lead my life, but I have a teenager leading his better. I think I have all the answers. I think I'll have a beer. I think I understand what it takes, to stay alive in this year, I think I want to be country, I think I want a f250, I think I want to have my wife leave me, and sing songs about it, wouldn't that be nifty? I think you understand, i wrote this about another. I think you understand, that this individual is hated. I think you understand, that this poem is outdated. I think I should have wrote this, When things got at it's worst, But no one intervened, No one stopped this curse.
