Broken hearted,
sad that we parted,
sad that you discarded,
sad you left me broken hearted.

Without emotion,
you cause commotion,
and raise the notion,
and make me fear.

Teardrops falling,
yes, Im balling,
I would be calling,
instead im drawing,
our broken hearts on my wrist.

Hearts carve in,
and color themselves red,
The brings me joy,
and masks all of the dread.

Blood falls to the floor,
I just don't know anymore.
You make me cry and make me smile,
but do I go the extra mile?

Do I do i mend together,
my once glued heart?
Do I take some tape,
and begin from the start?

Do you expect me to trust what can not be yet proved.
I tell you all this and my problems, but you remain unmoved.

Our little secret

Tides toss, and lightening burns, as we hold our secret tight. Take love in our hands, and we'll make it through the night. Waves press against us, and God begins to roar, as he tries his best to end this, and wash us upon separate shore. Whirlpools appear and tear from starboard to port, clinging to each other, as our only last resort. Lost your body in the sea, as oceans lay to rest putting love and heart, to its greatest test. I grab a breath as earth began to quake, little did I know, it's the last i'll ever take. We end up parted, You on shore one, I on shore two, My body lay lifeless, You take your finger to the sand, and write "I'm sorry, I love you."

I think we're good.

I think we're good. I think I know what I'm doing. I think i know how to lead my life, but I have a teenager leading his better. I think I have all the answers. I think I'll have a beer. I think I understand what it takes, to stay alive in this year, I think I want to be country, I think I want a f250, I think I want to have my wife leave me, and sing songs about it, wouldn't that be nifty? I think you understand, i wrote this about another. I think you understand, that this individual is hated. I think you understand, that this poem is outdated. I think I should have wrote this, When things got at it's worst, But no one intervened, No one stopped this curse.
