Purple Poetry

Snowflakes falling, Against the wind, Landing against, My skin to mend. Crashing up, against my hand, melting quickly, like "on-demand." Saddening me, to see them go, but what relief, to have never-ending snow.

The Christmas bells we're ringing, all throughout the town, and without a doubt the snow was falling, more than it had, all year round. The lights we're shinning dimly, but enough to lighten up the world, instilling smiles upon faces, of all the boys and girls. The Gingerbread was mystifying, the very air we breathe, and once I tasted this Christmas wonderland, I knew I couldn't leave.

When two turtle doves, came flying through the air, I couldn't help but miss the sweet caress of your hair, and i couldn't help but cry, knowing that you're no longer there. I cant help but miss you, when i see you standing in the snow, and I cant help but miss you, you know I love you so. I cant help but miss you, feeling empty, and cold with woe. It's just the snow, and thats all it ever takes, too make me miss you, and if thats not love, then I dont know what is, for goodness sake.

The stars started stiring, with the lights on the house, which mingled with the snowflakes, that covered your blouse. This started off a christmas like none yet, a christmas of love, one i'll not soon forget. It started off simple, yet wasn't planned alone, I'd come over that day, and get snowed in at your home. It all happened quick, and according to plan, and the strangest thing all - your mom was a fan. Thats when it happened, that night i'll never forget, the chill in your bones, and the time our lips first met.

Alright, there are 10 days until christmas! Yay! but more on the subject, that gives me 10 days to reflect on this past year and everyone and everything that has happened. My goal is 1 poem a day, for a total of 10 poems for you to read on christmas. Let's get crackin'.
